Global asset manager Threadneedle invested in the Arla Foods building at Leeds Valley Business Park and wanted to have a clean lease for any future sale.
Bray Fox Smith entered into consultation with Threadneedle to help identify the best way forward on this investment. We were asked to regear the lease.
Acting on behalf of Threadneedle, we negotiated a new lease which extended the term from nine to 15 years and raised the investment’s value. We also addressed and resolved various historic issues to ensure Threadneedle had a clean lease for any future sale.
