Bray Fox Smith, has agreed lettings with Coty, URS and ODE at St Georges House in Wimbledon following a comprehensive refurbishment programme. The deals have set new record rents for the Wimbledon area of circa £40.00 per sq ft and only one floor of 13,500 sq ft remains.
Richard Harding of Bray Fox Smith comments, “We were appointed alongside CBRE to advise and formally market the building. At the time of purchase, St Georges House provided office accommodation that was frankly indistinguishable from the local office supply in Wimbledon. When the 4th floor became vacant there was an opportunity to comprehensively refurbish and re-position the building, in order to raise its profile and drive rental growth. As a result, and having generated strong interest from the market, a deal was agreed with Coty, who were an existing tenant in the building and took a lease on the 4th floor as well as re-gearing their existing lease on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors. Subsequently URS re-geared their lease on the 3rd floor and Offshore Design Engineering have recently taken the ground and 2nd floors at £40.00 per sq ft“
