Bray Fox Smith are delighted to have acted on behalf of Tristan Capital and Alchemy Asset Management in exchanging contracts to acquire the 400,000 sq ft office campus, Reading International, for approximately £120 million. Completion is due later this year.

Reading International is one of the largest single office buildings in the South East, it benefits from great prominence fronting the M4 motorway at Junction 11, and is less than 3 miles from Reading town centre.

It is let to strong covenants including Investec, Verizon, Aspentech and Symantec as well as having a Busy Bees day nursery on site and a large detached restaurant block known as The Dot Cafe.

Rob Cregeen of Bray Fox Smith says “This is a hugely exciting opportunity for Bray Fox Smith to be involved with, to work alongside Tristan and Alchemy and reposition Reading International to create the best multi-let office environment in the South East. The focus will be on contemporary design, with wellness and a broad amenity offer at its heart.

There is approximately 175,000 sq ft vacant offices which will form part of the refurbishment which Bray Fox Smith have been retained to let with Savills.”
