Aviva Investors, advised by Bray Fox Smith, has signed a 10 year lease, with a 5 year break, to law firm Olswang for part of the second floor at The Blade in Reading.
Olswang, which advises clients in the media, technology and telecoms sectors, has taken 5,737 sq ft at a rent of £30 per sq ft, which equates to £172,110 per annum.
Richard Harding of Bray Fox Smith comments, “Over 25,000 sq ft has been signed to occupiers during 2014 and the building is now almost 60% let.”
There is 47,185 sq ft available over six upper floors with the capability of accommodating occupiers of 2,178 sq ft upwards. The quoting rent is now £32 per sq ft.
